In 2004, before PCE Foundation was created, the idea for the Rural Girl Child Mentorship program was born when our founder, Beatrice, worked to find financial sponsors for her nieces’ education.
One of these girls, Priscilla Achieng, recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Governance, and has been volunteering with PCE Foundation to help with administrative work. She is now at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant representing Uganda. We are so proud of all she has accomplished, and are thrilled to see her compete in the Miss Earth pageant!
