We are looking for volunteers, donors, and partners from across the globe to help us make a difference for rural Ugandan girls and their communities. Here are some of the ways you can help:
Sponsor a child
The Portland School provides education to over 150 children from the Amor Community. For only US$20 per month, you can sponsor a child, or you can donate to the Portland Scholarship Fund.
Become a mentor
Interested in cultivating a one-on-one relationship with a Ugandan student and helping her achieve her education? Consider participating in our mentorship project as a mentor or outreach coordinator.
Build a library
We are currently working to raise funds for the construction of the Amor Community Library and Meeting Hall. You can learn more about the library project here.
Make a new friend
Are you a student interested in connecting with a Ugandan pen pal? See our Peacepal letter exchange program.
Spread the word
Follow us on Facebook and share our story with your community. Your “likes” and shares help us connect with additional supporters.
Partner with us
Is your organization interested in partnering with us? We welcome collaboration. Contact Beatrice Achieng to discuss potential partnerships.
Do you have talents that could help us achieve our goals? Would you like to volunteer your time or energy in creative ways? Contact us to share your ideas.
Donate funds or supplies. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated! Help rural Ugandan communities achieve self-sufficiency and improve children’s access to education by donating to one of our community-oriented projects:
